5:1 Staff to Camper Ratio: Rock Point Camp prides itself on our personal and mindful approach to working with campers. Because of our intimate size, campers don’t get lost. They are individually known and appreciated by every staff member. We do our best to offer everything that a big camp would, but at a scale that is intimate and personal.

Mindful Community: We approach our daily schedule of activities with intentionality and care. Building on our spiritual roots, we start each day with a mindfulness session that is age-appropriate for our campers. It might include a reflection on the day before, space and time to appreciate our natural surroundings or introductory activities to help get to know one and another. These sessions help to transition kids from their busy lives at home or the night before and really “land” at camp so that they can be fully present for the day. We carry this mindful approach throughout our day as we work together as a community.

Diverse and Inclusive Community: Rock Point Camp is open to everyone regardless of creed, religion, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. Our counselors come from all areas of the United States and the world and are trained in diversity practices to ensure that Rock Point is a safe community where each person is loved, known and valued.

Nature-Based: We believe that time in the outdoors is essential for healthy development, so Rock Point Campers spend most of their day outside enjoying the shores of Lake Champlain and the beautiful woods and trails to which we have access. Outdoor time includes both free play and guided games, and we also teach essential outdoor skills as part of our activities.

Timeless Camp Traditions: Whether its s’mores by the fire, archery, or canoeing, Rock Point Camp helps kids to experience “summer as it should be.” These are the activities you would expect at a traditional summer camp, and they are an essential component of our annual program. Screen time not included.

Healthy Meals: You have enough on your plate when it comes to planning your child's summer schedule. Let us take one thing off of that list by providing healthy meals and scacks while your child is at camp.

A Commitment to Accessibility: A great summer camp experience should be possible for every child. As such, we offer a sliding scale fee schedule for families who would otherwise have difficulty paying for camp.
