Wilderness, beckoning and immediate, invites exploration of how to live in a gentle, unrushed community. Wake up to crackling fires and bird song in Flying Cloud's forest-ringed clearing surrounded by hundreds of acres of wilderness. Removed from clocks, camp life unfolds simply with games and adventures from sunrise to starlight in an off-the-grid summer.
Think about transporting yourself back to a time before cell phones, flashlights, or even wrist watches. This is Flying Cloud, a camp where you live in canvas structures surrounded by the forest, learning to truly feel comfortable and connected to the natural world. Here you participate in an inclusive yet challenging wilderness-based program, including activities such as building fires, tracking animals, cooking for a whole camp over glowing coals, and playing raucous all-camp games. Personal growth is encouraged at Flying Cloud, where campers gain a suite of tools for connection and have the support of highly engaged counselors. Through songs, games, dances, and a long history of camp traditions, new campers soon feel right at home. Flying Cloud welcomes boys and non-binary youth aged 11-14.
