Camp Wachusett
A camp where friendships grow within an environment inspired by the "Golden Rule."
Founded in 1903, Camp Wachusett is one of New England's first overnight camps for boys. Our program consisting of a variety of land and water activities, including overnight hiking and canoeing opportunities, promotes growth in independence, self-confidence, and teamwork. A relatively small environment allows boys to have choices and provides the perfect setting for establishing lifelong friendships.

Camp Wachusett for boys ages 8 to 15 promotes opportunities to choose and advance knowledge in a wide variety of activities while also exploring surrounding New England mountains and lakes through age appropriate camping trips. We offer two, three, four and six week sessions. To provide the best environment for direct interaction, we do not allow use of electronic devices. From its inception in 1903, Camp Wachusett has stood for “Unaliyi” - a Cherokee word meaning, “a place of friends.” Boys and staff who return year after year think of their camp friends as family, and refer to Wachusett as their home away from home.
