Program Director/Assistant Director

YWCA Camp Hochelaga is a non-profit summer camp for girls, located on the shores of Lake Champlain in South Hero, Vermont.  Applicant must be at least 21 years of age with previous camp staff experience in supervisory position, teaching or human services background preferred.  DATES: June 1-August 11.

Duties include: Plan, originate, schedule, organize, and carry out daily, evening, and special programs for campers and staff. Supervise three unit heads and assists with the development of all camp staff.  Work with Camp Director to improve the quality of camp life. Provides administrative assistance through daily rosters, parent phone calls and communications. Professional role models wanted!

Desired Qualifications: Good character, enthusiasm, and adaptability, experience with children and young adults preferably in an outdoor camp setting, and current CPR and FA certifications preferred.  Be supportive of the YWCA Camp Hochelaga philosophy of creating opportunities for women’s growth and leadership.
